    I haven't had the chance to try the original Violet Blonde, and probably never will, since its hard to find, so I decided to try this impression. When I first sniff this scent from the bottle I smell powdery Iris and some of the musky woodsy notes. Once on my skin this scent is amazing! Its powdery, lovely Iris, there's a clean green note (the violet leaf?). As it ages the musky suede notes come out a bit more and make a great base for the Iris. Very lovely. I don't need to sample the original now that I have this one!
