I have a small vintage bottle of the Dior “Diorissimo” which I have kept in a dark box in my dresser drawer.My nose senses the lilac more in the vintage one. However the oil is great as a refresher ( or alone ) I wear the oil to work in the hospital or out and about . The vintage goes on for nights out with the oil . I receive compliments from women mostly wanting to know what perfume I am wearing!

Lily of the valley perfumes are extremely difficult to recreate because there are no means by which to extract the fragrance from this type of flower. Perfumes that attempt to recreate LOTV perfumes are even harder to recreate as dupes. The original Dior perfume is nuanced and comprised of many notes. This dupe captured the original top notes, which I didn’t expect. However, it wears with less “dimension” than the OG Dior. Still, this is probably as close a dupe of Diorissimo I’ve ever tried, and I’ve tried several. The main character is there and matches the OG quite well. There seems to be a multidimensional airiness that this one captures better than other dupes, but still is not spot on. I will wear this and relish the true LOTV impression that conveys on my skin. But I won’t trade in my Diorissimo for this. Still, if you are a big LOTV fan, you will probably like this.
