Nice scent but overly strong projection. Stays on skin even after shower. Use sparingly

I’ve been eyeing the OG for a few months - Le Labo is practically everywhere in Paris, so I always have a chance to try the testers! - but cannot justify the price. I have a few Malle dupes from Oil Perfumery and both are seriously impressive, so when I noticed they produced an impression of A13, I was all in.
So, what’s it like? I am happy to report that they’ve nailed it. While it’s a more subtle version - without alcohol to propel and diffuse it, it won’t project as much as traditional perfume - that is a minor quibble, considering what it costs.
It’s primarily Ambroxan (a woody-amber material), Cetalox (lends a touch of ambergris), jasmine, and some vague, abstract fruitiness of unknown provenance. To me, it all reads as the ultimate “your skin but better” scent. People may not think you’re actually wearing perfume; they’ll just think you somehow smell amazing.
I’m in love. Glad I ordered two bottles but just to be safe, I’m going to order a few more to keep in storage because this is signature scent worthy.
