    Love Vanilla & and the complexity of the actual Herrod by Perfumes De Marly however, this like all of their fragrances pairs well with the actual scent itself, but any Nice vanilla on top of this will amplify this smell I love it .

    Amazing scent. More tobacco-heavy than the original, but that could be the batch that I got of the original perfume. Smells like tobacco leaves and christmas cookies.

    Woody Spicy fragrance

    Herod is a stunner; it's light on the tobacco and heavy on the sweetness and vanilla. I'd say it's unisex, but I think I'd prefer it on my man. I find it to be incredibly alluring.

    Is It Me?

    Can the pH of my skin drastically affect how a fragrance smells from one day to the next? Ordinarily I would say no, but...this impression of Herod smelled 10/10 the first time I tried it. The next day it was 5/10, and the 3rd day it was 7/10...Say what? Never has a fragrance done this to me, and I own 270! If this was a forum I would ask of other people's experiences, but sadly, I cannot.

    Smoky-sweet artistry

    Herod is a luxurious addition to any gentleman's arsenal- and I think it would be drop-dead sexy on any lady who loves tobacco scents as well.
